Lower West Side Residents are Divided on Metal Shredder Proposal
The proposal to ramp up operation at a Saint John metal recycling facility got different reactions.
$30-million scrap metal shredder is being eyed by American Iron and Metal to be added to its Lower West Side site, which can be found on Port of Saint John property. Adding the $30-million shredder would help the facility boost its output by as much as 500 percent.
