The trucking industry is seriously committed to safety, and they always encourage safe driving around trucks. For that reason, they promote several safety campaigns across the country. With almost two million truckers on the road during the course of a single day, the trucking industry can provide an extra hand to the state police and federal agencies to increase security and safety on the nation?s interstates. As a result, they created the Highway Watch campaign that consist in training drivers to report and recognize dangerous road conditions, the precise location of accidents and others complicated situations that can happen on the road.
