CBP certifies QuestaWeb as a software vendor for Periodic Statements in the Automated Commercial Environment

QuestaWeb?s software has successfully passed the test and demonstrated its ability to properly handle inbound and outbound transactions in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) environment.
Under a preauthorized agreement, the payer's bank account is electronically debited. The electronic debit to the payer's account occurs only when the payment authorization has been accepted by the U.S. Customs Service and only for the amount of the accepted payment authorization transaction.

"This is another important step toward enhancing our ability to both protect America's borders and expedite legitimate trade."
?QuestaWeb?s customers, importers and customhouse brokers, can now receive a monthly listing of their daily account statements and make one monthly payment via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) electronic funds transfer system, similar to commercial credit card payment processes,? said Wayne Slossberg, VP of Sales at QuestaWeb.
