The Propeller Club of Jacksonville is one of the oldest chapters of the international club that promotes the significance and the necessity of all waterborne commerce. Robbins spoke at the request of Peter Baci, Vice President of Programs.

The original Propeller Club was established in 1922 in New York. The Jacksonville chapter, chartered in 1930, is one of the oldest continually active clubs in the nation and has 240 members. Its officers include President Captain Eric Bryson of the St. John?s Bar Pilots Association and President Elect Victoria Robas of the Jacksonville Port Authority.
