Trans Union Truck Driving School began in 1989. It is authorized by the state of Washington, and approved for the Training of Veterans.
Trans Union School has these requirements for admission:
- No more than 3 moving violations in the 5 past years.
- No conviction or criminal background
- No history of drug or alcohol abuse
- No mental disorders
- No mayor surgeries.
- Must read and write in English
- Must met the DOT physical requirements
- Have valid license
- Must pass an entrance exam
The Trans Union does not require a high school diploma or GED.
The Trans program includes books, truck fuel, maintenance, supplies and insurance (licensing fees or physical exam not included)
It has financing by several sources. Many companies reimburse tuition up to 100% over a period of employment.
Tran Union School is approved for the training of Veterans.
Students should pay for these (not included in the program):
- Current Washington State License
- Obtain D.O.T. Physical, Our Doctor 47.00 cash
- Obtain CDL Instruction Permit 7.00
- While at Licensing office, Obtain 5 Year driving record 4.50
- Last day of classroom 10.00 for State written test
- Last day of driving 22.00 for final drivers license picture
