The United Truck Driving Division was established over 25 years ago in Southern California and since then, they have been teaching people all over the US to drive trucks and buses in the transportation industry. UTDS is also one of the only licensed and accredited trucks driving schools in Southern California. The training programs offered by this institution ensure the student that they will learn not only driving skills, but also all of the safety and transport regulations they need to know. United Truck Driving School also provides classes in Spanish. This can help all the people who want enter in this business but do not speak English.
Some of the programs that this school provides are: Class A/P CDL which consists of 5 weeks of school which includes general knowledge, safety norms, transport regulations and training in truck and bus driving skills. You will also participate in a brief course about the maintenance and repair of trucks. At the end of this program the student will have the ability to drive trucks and passenger buses. The Class A CDL class covers all the aspects described in the A/P CDL program except the training for driving buses. The Class B/P CDL class helps people interested in become a bus or Class B trucks driver. This includes general knowledge, training for the operation of commercial vehicles over 13 tons, and equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
To be accepted you must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver license issued in the state you live, have a social security card, and pass the DOT physical examination, among others.
