The Class A Truck School was founded in 1991, it is located on the 4637 Orange Grove Drive, Houston, Texas 77039 and their main objective is the complete satisfaction of their students. Also they have a policy that is ?no limit on practice time?, it means that they give you much more time in the truck driving training than other schools for you get ready when you make your driving test.
Class A Trucking School provides classroom instruction and one on one on the road driver training. The classroom consists of video types that teaches the students all the necessary information to pass the Commercial Driver License (CDL) written exam. The truck driving training is given to each student individually for a better learning of on the road requirements. Some of the skills the students will learn on this training are: getting on and off the highway, right turns, left turns, tight turning, backing, parallel parking, braking and a lot of traffic situations as well as defensive driving.
Some of the courses offered by this school are: Class A Tractor and Trailer with Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,000 lbs. or combined with trailer that has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. and sometimes much more. The Class B that consists in teach the students how to drive a straight truck, bobtail or bus with a GVWR of 26,000 lbs. or more; they also have available an Air Brakes course that you have to take, because if you do not take it you will not be able to drive.
